The Truth, Based on my Knowledge So Far
You should probably read my article about my experiences with religion at a young age first. It is on my personal blog at Ben Moreno dot net.
I am pretty sure that we do not know where we ultimately come from yet. It is tough for me to deny physics and science when talking about our existence. It feels as though we exist because of the laws of nature.
If you create a big hole in the ground with plastic undernear it so that the water cannot escape easily and just leave it there for a long time many organisims will sudden appear. It will turn into a thriving pond filled with life. You don’t have to do anything but wait, nature will do the rest.
We think we are significant in this world because we can realize our own existence. I think that we probably will never know where we come. It may be that way for a reason. It drives us to wonder, and think but it is all a part of survival.
The truth is most likely that we are a group of molecules that are together in a secific pattern based on the current enviorment. They change as the enviornment changes. Death is truly not significant and when we do die we just die and that is it. We can only live on through the memories of living people.
The universe is vast, unforgiving and infinite. Because of this it is very likely that our species exists in other places in the universe as well as many other species. It is natural for us to imagine solutions to problems we have with our own existence by creating false truths and convincing each other of them to feel even more secure about living and dying.
If this is the truth then it really doesn’t matter what you do with your life. It will only matter to others. Depending on how you feel about what people think will help determine what choices you make in life. So live life to the fullest because we don’t know anything yet.

@Ben, why and how it got started though? Today, if you put water in a place, molecules will appear because you already have all sorts of bacteria and molecules around us. That was not the case 4 billion years ago though. There was nothing around.
What made the first ones appear? God? Chance?
I will have to go with the chance idea. The god idea seems imaginary.
I have heard the arguments against the chance theory because the mathematics are so hard to calculate but I disagree. This is a world of infinite possibilities. It could easily happen. I don’t throw out the idea just because WE are unable to calculate it.
I like to see God as the “what we don’t know”, part.
Remember also, because we don’t know EVERYTHING doesn’t mean we have to settle. there is nothing wrong with “i don’t know yet”. Ideas and beleifs should change based on your level of knowledge from experiences.
